Purpose:
The Carpentry Technician, or Carpenter, will support the housing development team by performing skilled carpentry work and with achieving short- and long-term goals for residential construction and renovation projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise on projects prior to purchase by attending showings
- Assist with the creation of the scope of work to be performed for each project
- Attend building inspections
- Interpret blueprints and project plans
- Maintain safety and compliance
- Manage tools and materials
- Collaborate with other trades
- Provide training and shadowing opportunities
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in residential carpentry, specifically with framing, drywall, insulation, finishings)
- Understand architect blueprints
- Know OSHA requirements, Lead-Safe, City Codes
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills

This is an Exempt position with a salary range of $51,000 - $53,000.
